Fireside Lodge Cedar Rectangle Log Dining Table

This handcrafted cedar rectangle log dining table is built from solid northern white cedar and showcases natural knots, grain variation, and traditional hand-peeled log construction. The sturdy log base and spindle-style detailing create a classic lodge-inspired design that fits naturally in cabins, dining rooms, and Western-style homes.

The tabletop features a distinctive live-edge trim that highlights the natural beauty of the wood while giving each table its own unique character. About Northern White Cedar

All Fireside Lodge Cedar Furniture is crafted from northern white cedar, prized for its light weight, natural warmth, and excellent decay resistance. Natural variation in grain, knots, tone, and texture is expected and part of the appeal.

About Checking (Natural Wood Cracks)

Checking is natural in solid wood and log furniture and should be expected. As wood seasons and dries over time, it shrinks and swells at different rates, which can create surface cracks called “checks.” These checks are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture.

In log furniture, checks typically do not extend beyond the center of the log and may occasionally develop a secondary check. This is part of the authentic character of real wood furniture.
